The basic Baofang that we all started with. These are the updated model with USB-C charging ports directly into the battery. This Kit is a good starter & solid backup.
Baofeng UV-9R Pro 2pk
Baofengs 9R Pro models are my personal go to cheap radios. Nothing more than a UV-5R that has some improvements like more secure connectors & better suited for outdoor use.
Antenna Relocation Cable
Abbrees 23.6" SMA Female Coaxial cable for the Baofeng radios allows the user to move their antenna to a more desirable location on their kit. There is some slight power loss to be aware off.
TYT MD-UV390 Plus
This digital dual band radio with AES256 Encryption is likely one of the best options for the civilian who wishes to have a more secure comms setup while still remaining not crazy expensive.
TYT-8600 Mini Car Transceiver
The TYT-8600 is the mobile option i tell people, outside of Ham Radio specific radio. It is small, cheap & waterproof. Will do Ham, GMRS, MURS & Business Band.

The Comet Search & Rescue Vehicle Antenna is what I would recommend for Ham, GMRS, MURS, Business Band.
